I do
no
I do not know
this unquiet
calm
the dawn
each hour
numbered
in clear succession
each day
sequential
light to dark
so why
a willing
spectator
surrendered
so sentient
to this immediacy
this present
why must the mind
be obstinate
knowing
only partially
what is
nothing more
in this
inward landscape
where subtle tones
juxtapose
planes and perspectives
in deeper prospect
where I have slept
before so sure
but delayed
afraid
is this the moonlight
and have I missed the day
